MindPetal, a digital modernization provider to the federal government, announced that John Hennigan has joined MindPetal as Senior Director for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Mr. Hennigan brings more than 25 years of DHS experience, including 20 years as a U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Officer and 6 years in management consulting and business development with DHS components including USCG, DHS Headquarters, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and Federal Protective Service (FPS). Mr. Hennigan earned an MBA from Old Dominion University, B.S. from the Coast Guard Academy, and is Project Management Professional (PMP) certified. In addition, he holds several DHS emergency management certifications including FEMA Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) and FEMA Professional Continuity Practitioner – Level 1.

 

As MindPetal’s Senior Director for DHS, Mr. Hennigan leads MindPetal’s business development efforts at DHS including growth strategy and customer engagement.
