MindPetal, a digital modernization service provider to the federal government, announced the deployment of a new mobile application for the National Parks Service (NPS).
The new NPS App, highlighted as a featured download on the Apple App Store and Google Play, provides visitors with current information about all 423 national parks. Unlike other third-party apps focused on a specific park, the NPS App was developed working directly with park rangers and provides a suite of features including Interactive Maps, Park Tours, Amenities, Accessibility, Offline Use, Virtual Postcards, Things to Do, and News, Alerts & Events. The NPS App release coincides with National Park Week and Earth Day.
Sony George, CEO of MindPetal, commented on the release, “We are excited to continue our partnership with the National Parks Service with the release of the new NPS App. This customer-focused product is just another example of how the federal government, through agencies like NPS, is working to enhance the lives of its citizens. All of us at MindPetal are proud to be part of this endeavor.”
